Q Chat Space for LGBTQ+ teens

Q Chat Space provides online discussion groups for LGBTQ+ teens ages 13 to 19. It is not a forum. It is live and chat based; there is no video or audio. Everyone is chatting during the same pre-scheduled time.

Conversations are facilitated by experienced staff who work at LGBTQ+ centers around the country. Q Chat Space facilitators are NOT mental health professionals. If you are in crisis or need help immediately, please use the resources available here.

Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine

Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine provides free services in York and Cumberland counties to anyone affected by sexual assault, sexual harassment, or sexual abuse, through prevention programs, support, education, and advocacy. 

Southern Maine Community College - Rainbow League

We, the Rainbow League, are members of the SMCC community who take advocacy action for social equality.

St. Joseph's College - Gay Straight Alliance

The SJC Gay-Straight Alliance is a student-led organization providing a safe, supportive environment for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning students, and their straight allies (GLBTQQA).

The Bridge Alliance is a nonprofit organization that promotes social support & advocacy by gathering our LGBTA community together for social activities.

The Reformation Project

The Reformation Project is a Bible-based, Christian grassroots organization that works to promote inclusion of LGBTQ people by reforming church teaching on sexual orientation and gender identity. We envision a global church that fully affirms LGBTQ people.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.

The Venture Out Project

The Venture Out Project is committed to facilitating backpacking and wilderness trips for the queer and trans community in a safe and inclusive environment. Comprehensive inclusion workshops for educators, adventure professionals, summer/day camps and more are available.
